It seems like a nice instrument, and I just put some new strings on it this past Christmas and it sounds pretty good. I am hoping to use it in the jazz band in high school next year. Built by Erwin Lustenberger in 2006, the largest double-bass to ever be constructed was called an Octobass and was over 18-feet tall and 7-feet wide!.
