WebI looked through the search bar on MEB for asthma and it really didn’t give too much info for me. I found out about 40-501 (which is kinda hard to understand) and militarydisabilitymadeeasy.com. The reason I’m kinda lost at 40-501 is because it says if a soldier has mild asthma then there is no need for profiling and medication. WebA med board is essentially where you’re evaluated as being fit for continued service or if medical separation/retirement is a better option for the AF. Med boards can sometimes move quickly but I’ve also seen them take upwards of 12 months. Your CC will also have the option to provide a retention recommendation as well.
