WebDuchin founded the Metric Geometry and Gerrymandering Group at Tufts. The Boston-based team is studying how geometry (Duchin’s specialty) and computing can be applied to redistricting, and training scholars in quantitative fields to serve as expert witnesses in court cases about gerrymandering.
