Also, if you do not have the laughing monkeys sound, you are probably OK. TSB just results in them swapping in a new OPDA with the same flawed design.

Web17 feb 2016 · Not if your moving to the new Crown OPDA. It addresses the lack of oil to the bushings already. if your modifying your existing OPDA, then I think you would add a zerk. For me it was easier to just rip and replace the old OPDA for the better designed Crown. 2005 LJ Rubihara #380

Web14 giu 2013 · Before changing the sensor, I decided to take a look under the cap of the OPDA. And sure enough, the upper bushing no longer exists, causing the sensor ring to flop around. The shaft moves so much side to side that it will hit the sensor. No sense just changing the sensor.
