Witryna1 mar 2009 · 1) Heat impeller center with propane torch to approximately 150C, 300F to break locktite bond. 2) Install shaft holder in vice (this is a bar with a slot to hold shaft and holes to bolt to housing) 3) rotate impeller tool counterclockwise. NOTE: never use impact wrench to loosen impeller.

I usually either sit on the flat bar or put a knee on it, put the end of the rebar on the end of the impeller shaft and tap on it with the hammer. You always want to keep upward pressure on the pulley.
