WebJun 13, 2012 · Another problem is production change in replacement parts. I have to use an entirely different inner pinion bearing/race assembly than what came from the factory on most of the 8.8" rear ends that I build. Make sure the stack height of the replacement inner bearing/race assy is the same as what you pulled out. If not, you'll have to measure depth.
